The design of the Tech 10 Supervented has been guided by three priorities, as the technical footwear development team at Alpinestars sought to improve functionality, overall performance and safety, as well as reduce the weight and bulk of the materials.

• The foot shell features five different compounds in a single lightweight piece to provide strength without compromising flexibility and structural integrity. The foot shell incorporates heel and toe protection and is highly resistant to abrasion and impact, increasing overall boot durability. The foot shell also includes an integrated shank to provide support and structural integrity.
• The front protector features a dual closure system with an internal microfiber flap, plus hook-and-loop fastenings for a precise and secure fit with a lightweight, micro-adjustable, and easy-to-operate buckle.
• The shin incorporates an exclusive TPU blade system designed to prevent frontal hyperextension and offer greater flex control.
• The soft microfiber gaiter helps seal out excess water and dirt entry, while the 3D mesh lining ensures better air circulation and comfort.
• The 3D mesh lining incorporates anti-slip suede in the heel area to keep the foot located inside the boot.

• The central insert of the sole features a micro grip design and lateral grip. It is easily replaceable and Alpinestars offers a full sole replacement and boot repair service.

• Anatomically optimized to save weight and for ergonomics, the new mechanical buckle closure system features a nylon and fiberglass compound to enhance durability and strength. The new slimline buckle closure system includes high-impact bridge closures that are cold-forged for added precision and strength. The buckle closure system features memory and a quick-release/locking system with a self-aligning design for easy and precise closure, as well as improved riding performance and safety. All buckles are easily replaceable.
